An historical novel set in southeast Idaho, in the works for the last year, is now available online as an ebook or in paperback.
Big Southern centers on the Southeast Idaho Plain from 1850 to the present, following settlers, Destroying Angels, Morrisites, through the land and detailing a war between two canals, one Mormon and one Gentile, for eighty thousand acres in the 1890s. The novel chases the life of the canal engineer before finishing on a museum director's posting as a reference point for the area's past.
